If relaxing and unwinding is on your mind, you are in the perfect spot at Raratu Lodge. With a glass of one of our excellent local wines you can sit outside and soak up the sun and the beautiful views. Alternatively, if you wish to go walking or fishing, the nearby Tuki Tuki River is ideal.

Havelock North

Nearby Havelock North has a true village atmosphere. It offers restaurants, cafes, great shopping, art galleries and much more.

Te Mata Peak is right on your doorstep and offers walkways and lookouts with spectacular panoramic views of the Ruahine and Kaweka Ranges and across Hawke Bay from Wairoa to Cape Kidnappers and beyond.

Hawkes Bay enjoys a mediterranean climate and its wineries and vineyards are legendary. Wine tours are usually on the agenda for our guests and there is a huge number of wineries to choose from, starting with Craggy Range Winery and Te Mata Estate just a short distance down the road from the Lodge.

Napier And Hastings

The sister-cities of Napier and Hastings Napier is a seaside city and is acknowledged to be the Art Deco Capital of the World. Hastings City is the agricultural service centre for Hawkes Bay.
